Every home should feel like the people who live in it. That is the whole brief.
Sureen founded Formscape after more than a decade designing homes in Singapore, and has led the studio for fourteen years. She personally oversees every project from the first conversation to the final styling, which is why clients tend to describe the process as calm and the result as theirs.
Her work spans condominiums, landed houses and apartments for families who live here and families arriving from abroad. She is known for listening first, for layouts that make a Singapore floor plan feel generous, and for staying reachable long after handover.

What expats ask before they start.
Can you design our home before we arrive in Singapore?
Yes. Most of our expat projects begin with video calls, floor plans and photographs. Concepts, quotations and approvals can be completed remotely, and the works scheduled so the home is ready for your move-in date.
We are renting. What can actually be changed?
More than most tenants expect. We prepare a landlord-ready proposal that separates reversible upgrades, such as lighting, paint, window treatments and freestanding joinery, from permanent works that need written consent, and we handle the conversation with the landlord or agent if you prefer.
Do you handle permits and management approvals?
We prepare the drawings and submissions required by condominium management or the relevant authority for the works in scope, and coordinate the renovation deposit, working hours and access on your behalf.
How long does a remodel take?
It depends on scope. A rental refresh can be completed in a few weeks; a full remodel of a condominium typically runs several months from concept to handover. You receive a dated programme with the quotation.
How does pricing work?
Design fees and works are quoted separately and itemised. Once the scope is agreed the quotation is fixed, and any change you request is priced before it is carried out.
