Why we put AI in front of our clients, not behind the scenes

Most studios use AI quietly to speed up renders. We would rather hand it to the client on day one.
Every interior designer we know now uses AI somewhere in the process, usually to produce mood images faster or to test a palette before committing to a render. Almost none of them let the client touch it. We think that is backwards.
The hardest part of a remodel is not the building; it is the first conversation, when a family is trying to describe a feeling they have never seen in their own home. A photo of their actual room, transformed in a minute into a warm minimal version and a Japandi version and a colonial version, does more for that conversation than any number of reference images from other people's houses.
So we are building exactly that into Formscape: upload a photo, describe the feeling, see the concept, then talk to a designer who turns it into drawings, a fixed quote and a real room. The AI does not replace the design. It replaces the awkward first fortnight of guessing.
